The Saguenay−Lac-Saint-Jean LEDC Association brings together five regional local economic development centres. Georges Bouchard is President of the Association (georges.bouchard@ville.saguenay.qc.ca), City Counsellor for the City of Saguenay and Chair of the Saguenay LEDC’s Board of Directors.
Our Misson
The Local Economic Development Centres (LEDC) foster local economic development as well as maintain and create new jobs in their respective counties.
Services
LEDCs offer free support, financing, and follow-up services for business start-ups, take-overs, expansion or consolidation projects. They also look after economic stimulation as well as fostering the development of entrepreneurship and social economy.
